Saan Tayo? is built from open data. Every town's vibes are read from its Wikipedia and Wikivoyage articles, the articles of places located in it and Wikivoyage guides to its island or area (for coastal towns' sea vibes, also the titles and descriptions of its photos on Wikimedia Commons), judged by the Jev model, and shown with map facts from OpenStreetMap. Photos are linked from Wikimedia Commons with their authors and licences. How it works
Licences
The data keeps the licences of its sources:
- the vibe tags are derived from Wikipedia and Wikivoyage text and shared under CC BY-SA 4.0, like that text;
- map facts and city borders from OpenStreetMap are under the ODbL 1.0;
- Wikidata facts are CC0;
- each photo keeps the licence shown with it on its region's page;
- the illustrations were drawn for this project as SVG code with AI assistance (Claude), then reviewed and edited, and are licensed CC BY 4.0.
